About me
I grew up in South Africa, and have done most of my teaching there, except for the last 3 years, where I lived and taught in the UK. I hold a bachelor's degree in education from South Africa, with majors in Mathematics and Biology. With over 20 years of experience teaching mathematics, I have worked across a range of curricula, including GCSE, IEB (South Africa), and UK systems, teaching mathematics to students aged 8 to 15. For the past three years, I have also specialised in preparing students for their 11+ mathematics exams. I was the Head of Middle School Mathematics at a preparatory school in London for 1 year, before returning to South Africa.
How it works
1
Tell Me About Your Child
You'll complete a short, simple questionnaire to help me understand your child's academic needs, learning style, and any specific challenges they may be facing.
2
Free Trial Lesson
Your child will receive a free, no-obligation
30-minute trial lesson focused on an area they struggle with. This helps me assess where they're at and how they learn best.
3
Personalised Plan
I’ll create a custom learning plan based on your child’s needs. Together, we’ll choose the best time and lesson length, then confirm everything with a simple agreement.
